In my profession, there are those that know and those that do not know. What I know is valuable, but it is given freely. My knowledge is recognized by my peers, but those above only look down on numbers and statistics. Raw data. They do not know.
My knowledge is appreciated by those to whom I provide. They begin by not knowing, but I make them know, and we are all better for it.
I defend policies I do not agree with. I do not do this freely, but by intimidation. I am an ambassador by force.
